Pediatric Dentist Kate Kiguradze, DDS, MPH

Meet Dr. Kiguradze

Dr. Kate Kiguradze is a board certified pediatric dentist. She is the founder of Darien Pediatric Dentistry. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, she received her first dental degree from Tbilisi State Medical University, followed by a general practice residency training at Georgian-German dental clinic Unident-Ross. Upon moving to the United States with her family, Dr. Kate attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded her degree as Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2006. In 2007 Dr. Kiguradze completed a general practice residency program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center. While still at Montefiore hospital, she completed her specialty training at a two-year pediatric dental residency program. 

As a pediatric dentist and a mother, Dr. Kate understands the importance of creating a warm, welcoming, friendly dental home for children of all ages, from infancy through adolescence. She believes in conservative approach to treatment and strives to provide highest quality dental care while treating every child as her own.

Dr. Kate holds a Master’s degree in public health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. For number of years, she held a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Section of Population Oral Health.

Dr. Kiguradze is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a recipient of Richard Pugh Achievement Award for outstanding performance on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry qualifying examination.
